Detailer ("we," "us," or "our") provides a service that helps car detailing studios create branded landing pages, accept online bookings, and manage their business. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

By creating an account or using Detailer, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the platform:

• Account information — name, email address, password (stored securely hashed), and studio or business details you enter during signup or in your dashboard settings.
• Billing information — subscription status, payment method details, and transaction history. Payment card data is processed by our payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
• Studio content — services, pricing, availability, gallery images, branding choices, and template customizations you upload or configure.
• Booking data — customer names, contact details, appointment dates, selected services, and notes submitted through your public booking page.
• Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the dashboard, collected automatically for security and product improvement.
• Session analytics (with your consent) — if you accept analytics cookies, two third-party services record how you interact with the site. Microsoft Clarity captures which pages you view, where you click, and how your cursor moves, as an anonymous session replay; it does not receive your name, email address, or account details, and form input is masked. Google Analytics counts visits and page views in aggregate, and does not record session replay or cursor movement. See Cookies and analytics.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and studio profile
• Provide, operate, and maintain the Detailer platform
• Process subscriptions, trials, and billing
• Deliver booking notifications and transactional emails
• Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
• Monitor usage, detect fraud, and protect platform security
• Improve features, performance, and user experience

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the platform, such as payment processors, email delivery services, and cloud hosting providers. These vendors are contractually required to protect your data.
• Analytics providers — if you consent to analytics cookies, session replay data is sent to Microsoft Clarity and site usage data is sent to Google Analytics, both of which process it on our behalf under Microsoft's privacy statement and Google's privacy policy. No analytics data is sent to either provider if you decline.
• Your customers — booking information you collect through your public page is visible to you as the studio owner. You are responsible for how you use and store that customer data.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Detailer, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of your information.

We retain your account and studio data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you cancel your subscription, we may retain certain information for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Booking records associated with your studio remain available in your dashboard until you delete them or close your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, update, or correct your account information through your dashboard settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Opt out of non-essential marketing communications
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Withdraw your consent for analytics cookies at any time. Doing so stops session analytics from being collected from that point onward; see Cookies and analytics for how

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, secure password hashing, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you signed in. Disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

With your permission, we also use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how the platform is used. Clarity records anonymous sessions — page views, clicks, and cursor movement — and produces heatmaps so we can find and fix problems that are hard to see in aggregate numbers. It does not tell us who you are. Google Analytics counts visits and page views; it does not record session replay, cursor movement, or the contents of forms.

Clarity is provided by Microsoft and its data is processed under Microsoft's privacy statement. Microsoft automatically masks text entered into form fields, including names, email addresses, and phone numbers, before it is uploaded. We additionally configure Clarity to mask content on the booking form, so the personal details your customers enter are not recorded. Clarity cannot capture anything inside third-party embedded content.

Google Analytics is provided by Google and its data is processed under Google's privacy policy. We turn off Google Signals, which would otherwise attach demographic and interest inferences to your traffic, and ads data redaction, which removes advertising click identifiers. Analytics collects only page views and events; it is not configured to send form contents.

Neither Clarity nor Google Analytics is loaded until you accept analytics cookies through the banner on our site. If you choose "Essential only," or dismiss it without choosing, neither service is loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time by clearing this site's local storage in your browser settings, which will bring the banner back.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and blocking third-party cookies will prevent Clarity and Google Analytics from operating.

Detailer is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
